Eggbert's World
When Malcolm moved to Cornwall initially he concentrated on the tin mines and granite cottages of the Cornish moorland. But one day was sculpting an egg shape from which emerged a cheeky chick - Eggbert was born! Malcolm put the figure in his shop window and it sold immediately.

Knowing he had a winner, Malcolm developed the Eggbert character into a range and decided to approach a major manufacturer in order to achieve worldwide distribution and chose Peter Fagan's company to do the job.

One major part of Eggbert's success is that it is an ideal gift for anyone with a special interest, combining humour with sporting, professional, and all leisure pursuits. The 'Punny' name makes each piece an 'eggstra' special gift. Colleggtors enjoy joining in the name game and often write to Malcolm suggesting new ones.

  Victory at Trafalgar
One of Malcolm's neighbours in the Harbour Galleries, Don MacLeod specialises in maritime art. To commemorate the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar, he produced a superb limited edition print showing the moment when Nelson's flagship breached the enemy line.

He recently produced a second work, Final Voyage. This shows HMS Warrior, towing Nelson's battered flagship homeward up the English Channel.

Gothic Angel - The Art of Steve Fox
The mystical and ancient land of Cornwall has exerted its influence over all who have ventured to its wild shores. Over millennia, mystery, folklore and legend have become part of its brooding beauty, to then impart itself as the gift of inspiration in a myriad of artistic forms.

It was then inevitable that after moving to Cornwall in 1997, Steve's art would increasingly present itself as a doorway to these hidden realms, reflecting the deep sense of spirituality and heroic romance that he feels is ever present.

Working in oils on panel or canvas, Steve's work is noted for its individual style and high finish. He works in a gallery neighbouring Malcolm's.
